In 1984, Mr. Krishna Ramlagan founded Ramlagan’s General Hardware & Electrical Limited with a vision rooted in hard work, integrity, and family dreams. As a determined young entrepreneur, he set out to transform his parents’ aspirations into reality. What began as a modest hardware store serving the villagers of the Balmain, Couva community on 20,000 square feet of land has since grown to span acres within the very same community.

From humble beginnings as a one-man operation personally assisting every customer, the business evolved into Ramlagan’s Holdings, now providing meaningful employment opportunities to members of the community and beyond. Growth never meant losing touch with our roots it meant strengthening them.

Driven by the commitment to serve customers from “Groundbreaking to House Opening,” Ramlagan’s Hardware built its reputation on offering everything under one roof, 363 days a year.
